Recommend it for budget-conscious travelers
The staff welcomed me like family, especially that one time when I got lost in the vibrant lobby area. The bar had this fine selection of drinks that I wish I could’ve enjoyed longer, but alas, it shut down too early for my liking.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but considering my experiences, it was still decent enough.

8/10
The room was cozy, and I enjoyed the complimentary mini-bar with the cute kiwi treats. Staff were helpful enough, but a bit more friendliness wouldn’t hurt. The shower was great, real refreshing. The location on Cuba Street is just perfect, though I reckon it gets a bit noisy at night. Next time I’ll pack earplugs!

Just a decent option for a weekend getaway in Wellington with attractive and competitive value for money. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the express breakfast included in the cost even if the food was average. Bring some earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

missingWrote a review on 27 Junfriendly receptionunique atmospheredecent barsmall showerpoor ventilationlimited view
The experience at Naumi Studio had its bright spots, but a few issues really stood out. The lady at reception greeted me warmly, making a good first impression. The bar area featured a decent selection of drinks at reasonable prices. I appreciated the funky decor, particularly the creative touches that made the place feel unique. However, the room left much to be desired. The ventilation was poor, and the fan struggled to work properly, which made it uncomfortable during my stay. I found the shower too small for my liking, and the coffee machine contained water that looked unclean. Noise from other rooms was quite evident, disrupting my peace. I booked a City View room, which turned out to be misleading as the view was hardly visible. The room setup also lacked sufficient charging spots and felt cramped. While there were some enjoyable aspects, the overall experience didn’t meet the expectations I had based on the hotel's name. Improvements in cleanliness and room functionality would make a big difference.
